The Finger Lakes Camerata, a choral group based at Finger Lakes Community College, will give two concerts of “Holiday Wishes from Around the World” on Dec. 8 and 9.The Farmington Friends Church at 187 County Road 8, Farmington, will host the first concert on Saturday, Dec. 8, at 7 p.m.The second concert is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 9, at 3 p.m. in the new FLCC auditorium at 3325 Marvin Sands Drive, Canandaigua.The Camerata will perform 17 selections, including “O Holy Night,” “What Child Is This?” and the parody “The Twelve Days After Christmas.” The program also features “Fum, Fum, Fum,” a carol from the Catalonia region of Spain, and the Italian song “Gesu Bambino.”The 24-member Finger Lakes Camerata is directed by Dennis Maxfield, adjunct music faculty member at FLCC, and accompanied by Anthony D’Agostino on piano.For more information, contact Dennis Maxfield at (585) 396-0027 or maxfiedc@flcc.edu.
