Alyssa Johnson, a 2012 graduate of Finger Lakes Community College, will discuss her summer internship in Alaska on Tuesday, Dec. 18, at 7 p.m. at the FLCC Muller Field Station, 6455 County Road 36.“Alyssa’s Alaskan Adventure,” will detail Johnson’s all expense-paid internship with the Student Conservation Association in Alaska in summer 2012. She served as a volunteer for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service on the Kenai Peninsula, working with chinook salmon and lake trout.To make a reservation, contact Nancy Lawson in the FLCC Department of Environmental Conservation and Horticulture at (585) 785-1257 or lawsonnk@flcc.edu.The FLCC Muller Field Station is a 48-acre learning and research center at the south end of Honeoye Lake.This event is co-sponsored by Finger Lakes Community College and the Honeoye Valley Association.
